Yes, COVID. Yes, the election. Yes, the economy. Yes, the environment. And to top it off, a tiny little Thanksgiving and Christmas. We canceled a trip to Hawaii because of COVID and because it felt important to look into my house for love and connectedness instead of outside my house - I mean that both literally and figuratively. Instead, we are going to drive to Palm Springs after Christmas for a week - staying in a home with a heated pool, we will hike Joshua Tree.
My year? Shockingly busy considering. But not so shocking, really. I have a core client base who are serious about home buying and selling and regardless of “it all” need to make financial decisions. I am beyond grateful for the referrals of clients and friends. Truly. I am so fortunate that when I first meet a client there is usually a thread of connection - the DNA of a deep trust I aim to deserve. I know I work very hard for the trust that is bestowed upon me but I never forget that it is my ever-expanding circle of connection that puts food on the table and keeps me in hip dungarees. Thank you.
I have included this photo, taken in the fall of 1983. My family of origin will not be together for the holidays. And I am, like you, struggling with what that means.
I write to touch your fingertip symbolically. A wee little electrical pulse sent around the globe. Remember as a child that image of the entire world holding hands? You knew it was possible but then wondered about the large bodies of water and how that would be handled? Many boats?
Even as we are kept apart from each other I feel more connected than ever to the web of knowing that is the footprint we make on this world. As always, I am here for you in whatever capacity I can be. I hope you know that.
With love,
Sarah
